UGL seeks a Senior Project Engineer – Electrical to lead electrical packages for hyperscale data centre projects in Melbourne. You will engage design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, coordinating multiple interfaces and subcontractors to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical coordination of HV/LV systems, UPS and power infrastructure, and collaboration with clients and stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience leading electrical packages on data centre projects.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholder interfaces and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical services packages from design through handover.
• Coordinate electrical subcontractors to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets.
• Coordinate HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, switchgear.
• Interface with mechanical, controls, ICT, BMS, fire, and commissioning teams.
• Review designs for constructability and mitigate risks.
• Monitor performance against schedule and budget.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders.
