Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical to lead mechanical services packages for hyperscale data centres in Melbourne. You will drive design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, coordinating subcontractors and interfacing with clients and consultants to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and proven experience delivering complex mechanical packages on major projects, with emphasis on HVAC and critical

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering mechanical services packages on major construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and cooling infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical services packages from design through handover.
• Coordinate mechanical subcontractors to meet safety, quality and schedule targets.
• Drive technical coordination of HVAC and critical cooling systems.
• Interface with clients, consultants and internal teams to secure project outcomes.
• Review designs for constructability and manage project risks.
