Job summary

Actemium Water Infrastructure in Queensland seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer - Control Systems to lead design, development and delivery of industrial control systems for water and wastewater projects.

You'll provide technical leadership across PLC, SCADA, HMI and telemetry, mentor engineers, and ensure compliance with standards from concept to commissioning, working with clients and partners in VINCI Energies network.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience delivering electrical, automation and control systems projects within water, utilities, infrastructure or industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and delivery of industrial control systems for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Develop and commission PLC, SCADA, HMI, telemetry and industrial communications systems.
• Prepare and review technical documentation including control philosophies, functional design specifications and network architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and technical specialists.
• Support project delivery teams throughout design, procurement, testing and commissioning phases.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders to develop fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Participate in site commissioning, troubleshooting and operational support activities.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, client specifications and industry best practice.
