Job summary

Actemium Water Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - Control Systems to lead the design and delivery of industrial control solutions for Queensland's water and wastewater projects.

You'll oversee PLC, SCADA, HMI, telemetry systems from concept through commissioning, mentor engineers, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure compliant, fit-for-purpose solutions. This role offers a chance to shape critical infrastructure and work within VINCI Energies network.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or related engineering.
• 6+ years delivering electrical, automation and control projects in water/utilities.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI and telemetry systems across major vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and delivery of industrial control systems for water and wastewater projects.
• Develop and commission PLC, SCADA, HMI, telemetry and industrial communications systems.
• Prepare technical documentation including control philosophies and network architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and specialists.
• Support project delivery through design, procurement, testing and commissioning.
• Build relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Participate in site commissioning, troubleshooting and operational support.
• Ensure compliance with standards and client specifications.
