Job summary

MINCORE PTY LTD in Melbourne or Perth is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with mining/EPCM experience to deliver electrical design packages across study, FEED and detailed design phases. You will prepare load lists, SLDs, equipment lists and cable schedules, and perform protection coordination calculations.

You will have 8+ years in the field, strong knowledge of LV/MV distribution, and be able to coordinate across disciplines while adhering to Australian standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in an engineering design consultancy or EPCM environment.
• Proven ability to independently prepare electrical deliverables.
• Mining, mineral processing or heavy industrial project experience.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV distribution, MCCs, motors, VSDs and industrial electrical systems.
• Good knowledge of Australian Standards.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination and communication skills.
• Based in Melbourne or Perth, or willing to relocate.

• Develop earthing and lightning protection requirements.
• Review vendor drawings, calculations and technical submissions.
