Technical Resources Pty Ltd seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead technically complex electrical scopes across Australian mining and mineral processing projects, driving design from concept through detailed design, procurement and site support with multidisciplinary teams.

This permanent role delivers practical, high‑quality outcomes and exposure to critical minerals and battery metals projects, combining hands‑on engineering, project leadership and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years' experience in Australian mining, minerals processing or heavy industrial projects.
• Strong background in detailed design and technical delivery.
• Experience preparing engineering calculations, drawings and design documentation.
• Power system studies experience highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering packages across studies, design and procurement.
• Design and review HV and LV systems for mining, mineral processing and industrial facilities.
• Deliver SLDs, schematics, termination drawings and detailed design packages.
• Complete load flow, fault level, cable sizing, equipment sizing, earthing and lightning protection calculations.
• Develop technical specifications, scopes of work and procurement documentation.
• Control budgets, schedules, resources, risks and deliverables.
• Coordinate engineers, designers, drafters, clients, vendors and contractors.
• Support commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and site inspections.
