Job summary

AECOM invites applications for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Adelaide or Perth team, focusing on expanding local electrical engineering capabilities across mining, industrial, and civil infrastructure projects. You will mentor junior engineers and lead electrical design through feasibility, detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.
• Experience in mining, local government or heavy industry sectors.
• Exposure to the design and specification of industrial systems such as HV/LV distribution, controls and communications, safety systems and motor controls.
• Proficient in producing engineering documentation such as technical specifications, datasheets, reports and scope of works.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical components across feasibility, detailed design, procurement, site construction and commissioning.
• Collaborate with engineers across resources/industrial, transport, water and buildings.
• Provide technical advice on local sustaining capital projects and studies.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to grow team size and capability.
