Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Modeller for a Perth Fringe-based consultancy. The role focuses on developing detailed BIM models and documentation across diverse, technically complex projects delivering from design through to documentation.

You will work with engineers and multidisciplinary teams, using Revit to deliver accurate models and coordinated drawings that meet Australian standards and WA regulations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ minimum experience as an Electrical Modeller within a building services consultancy.
• Strong proficiency in Revit is essential.
• Solid understanding of electrical building services design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed electrical BIM models using Revit.
• Produce coordinated 3D models covering power, lighting, earthing, communications and associated electrical systems
• Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to achieve effective BIM coordination
• Produce accurate electrical documentation and drawing packages
• Support engineers throughout the design and documentation process
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings, model reviews and clash detection
• Maintain high standards of model quality, accuracy and project documentation
