Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking a BIM Coordinator – Mechanical Building Services to join a leading Tier 1 engineering consultancy in Perth CBD. You will coordinate BIM deliverables across projects, ensuring standards are maintained and design teams work efficiently on healthcare, airport, and defence developments.

The ideal candidate has 7–8 years in BIM Coordination within building services, strong Revit and BIM 360 skills, and the ability to work autonomously while guiding stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years' experience in BIM Coordination within the building services or construction sector (candidates with 5+ years' experience will also be considered).
• A Mechanical Building Services background is highly desirable
• Strong proficiency with Revit and BIM 360
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary building projects
• Understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and project delivery processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of project outcomes
• Australian Citizen is required due to defence work

Responsibilities

• Coordinating BIM models across multidisciplinary project teams
• Managing model federation, clash detection, and design coordination activities
• Supporting project teams in the development and implementation of BIM execution plans
• Maintaining BIM standards, workflows, and quality assurance procedures
• Collaborating closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Structural, and Architectural disciplines
• Managing and coordinating project information within BIM 360
• Providing technical guidance and support to project stakeholders
