Job summary

Goodstart Kallangur - Duffield Road West in QLD is seeking a Senior Educator to lead a room and guide a team of Educators in delivering high-quality early learning programs. You will collaborate with Centre Leadership and Educational Leaders to continually improve teaching practices and ensure safety and inclusivity for every child.

Qualification requirements include a Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent, plus a current QLD WWC and National Child Safety Foundation Training via Geccko.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood or ACECQA approved equivalent
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Current Queensland Working with Children Check (QLD WWC)
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via Geccko platform

Responsibilities

• Lead your own room and manage a team of Educators to deliver exceptional learning programs
• Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader to observe, inform, and improve teaching practices
• Prioritise child safety and inclusivity to tailor learning experiences for all children

As a Senior Educator at Goodstart , you'll take charge of your own room, leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. About Goodstart Kallangur-Duffield Road West

• 71 place centre
• Open 6.30am to 6pm
• Walking distance to Kallangur train station
• Off street parking available
• Minutes walk to the Kallangur Fair Shopping Centre
• Long standing service in the community-we actively invite local community members into the centre
• Programming hours are currently 2hrs a week (depends on the amount of children)

You’ll need:

• Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
