Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking experienced Senior E&I Project Engineers to support the Brigalow Peaking Power Plant, a major BOP project with 12 GTG units and associated electrical, instrumentation and control infrastructure.

You'll initially be based in our Brisbane office supporting project mobilisation, detailed planning and procurement activities before transitioning to site construction near Chinchilla, Queensland.

Qualifications

• Proven Project Engineer experience delivering E&I scopes across power generation, energy, mining, oil & gas, resources or heavy industrial projects.
• Degree qualified in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or a related Engineering discipline.
• Strong experience managing electrical and instrumentation construction activities from planning through to execution.
• Experience with HV/LV systems, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, control systems and instrumentation installations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate E&I construction and commissioning activities to meet safety, schedule and budget.
• Manage delivery of electrical, instrumentation, communications and control system work scopes.
• Review engineering documentation, specifications and vendor deliverables.
• Coordinate interfaces between E&I, SMP, civil, commissioning and client teams.
• Develop and manage work packs, ITPs, test records and commissioning documentation.
• Support procurement activities including technical evaluations and FAT participation.
• Monitor project schedule, cost performance and forecasting.
• Mentor Graduate and Project Engineers.
