Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking experienced Senior E&I Project Engineers to support the Brigalow Peaking Power Plant, a major Balance of Plant project featuring 12 aeroderivative GTG units and associated E&I infrastructure. You’ll begin in Brisbane supporting mobilisation, planning and procurement before moving to site construction near Chinchilla, Queensland.

Applicants should have a degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or related engineering discipline and proven experience delivering

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
Proven project engineering experience delivering E&I scopes on power generation, energy, mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, switchgear, transformers, protection, control systems and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Coordinate E&I construction and commissioning activities to achieve project objectives on time and within budget.
Manage delivery of electrical, instrumentation, communications and control system work scopes.
Review engineering documentation, specifications and vendor deliverables.
Coordinate interfaces between E&I, SMP, civil, commissioning and client teams.
Develop and manage work packs, ITPs, test records, construction methodologies and commissioning documentation.
Support procurement activities including technical evaluations, vendor engagement and FAT participation.
