Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking experienced E&I Project Engineers to support the Brigalow Peaking Power Plant delivery, a major Balance of Plant (BOP) project with 12 GTG units and supporting electrical, instrumentation and control infrastructure. You’ll begin in Brisbane supporting mobilisation, detailed planning and procurement before moving to site construction near Chinchilla, Queensland.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline.
Proven experience delivering E&I scopes on large industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, protection, control and instrumentation installations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate E&I construction and commissioning activities to meet objectives safely, on time and within budget.
Manage delivery of electrical, instrumentation, communications and control system work scopes.
Review engineering documentation, specifications and vendor deliverables.
Coordinate interfaces between E&I, SMP, civil, commissioning and client teams.
Develop and manage work packs, ITPs, test records, construction methodologies and commissioning documentation.
Manage RFIs, technical queries, NCRs and design clarifications through to close out.
Support procurement activities including technical evaluations and FAT participation.
Monitor project schedule, cost performance and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with project specs, QA requirements and Australian Standards.
