Job summary

Monadelphous seeks experienced E&I Project Engineers to support the Brigalow Peaking Power Plant BOP construction. Initial Brisbane-based mobilization, then on-site near Chinchilla, QLD.

Role involves coordinating electrical, instrumentation and control systems across HV/LV, with a focus on safety, schedule and budget. You will deliver procurement support, RFIs, ITRs and commissioning documentation, while working within EPC/EPCM delivery models and contributing to QA and compliance with

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline.
• Sound knowledge of HV/LV systems, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, control systems and instrumentation installations.
• Experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA, communications systems and control system interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate E&I construction and commissioning activities to achieve project objectives safely, on time and within budget.
• Manage delivery of electrical, instrumentation, communications and control system work scopes.
• Review engineering documentation, specifications and vendor deliverables.
• Coordinate interfaces between E&I, SMP, civil, commissioning and client teams.
• Develop and manage work packs, ITPs, test records, construction methodologies and commissioning documentation.
• Manage RFIs, technical queries, NCRs and design clarifications through to close out.
• Support procurement activities including technical evaluations, vendor engagement and FAT participation.
• Monitor project schedule, productivity, cost performance and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, QA requirements and Australian Standards.
• Support testing, commissioning, energisation and handover activities.
