Job summary

Monadelphous Group seeks an experienced Senior E&I Project Engineer to support delivery of a major mining project in Western Australia. The role will start in the Perth office, transitioning to site on a 2:1 FIFO roster.

The successful candidate will lead E&I work packs, planning, and execution across SMP and E&I scopes, liaising with stakeholders and senior teams. Key focus areas include safety, quality compliance with ISO standards, cost control, and provision of technical leadership to site

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer with a strong E&I background in mining, minerals, or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering E&I scopes on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong planning, scheduling, work pack development, and progress reporting capabilities.
• Solid budgeting, forecasting and change management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership to mentor and guide junior engineers and site teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Tertiary Engineering qualification.
• Knowledge of Australian standards and AS/NZS ISO 9001.
• Ability to work a 2:1 FIFO roster.
• Valid right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of E&I work packs and oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of project scopes.
• Coordinate labour, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient and compliant project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to supervisors and project teams.
• Monitor construction progress, track milestones, and ensure alignment with project schedules.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across E&I activities.
• Promote and enforce strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all HSE requirements.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with quality assurance procedures, client specifications, and ISO standards.
• Manage subcontractors and support commercial aspects including cost control, forecasting, and change management.
• Support commissioning and handover activities as required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
