Job summary

The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd, on behalf of a major Australian Federal Government department, is seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 Test Analyst to lead testing of core business processing systems. You will guide test strategy, plan resources, and oversee test design, execution and risk management in an agile environment.

Required skills include D365 technologies, SQL, API, and ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology and ISTQB Foundation Test Analyst or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain test cases, scripts and test data.
• Experience executing manual tests and defect management.
• Knowledge of test design techniques, test execution processes and testing tools.
• Ability to identify, investigate and report defects and issues.

Our client, a major Federal Government department responsible for national health, aged care, disability and sport policy and programs, require the services of a Senior Dynamics 365 Test Analyst.

Duties of the Senior Dynamics 365 Test Analyst

• Lead a team to test the function & interfaces of core business processing systems;
• Prepare, estimate, manage & review testing documentation, ensuring relevant strategies & plans follow best practice & management of risks are considered;
• Work in an agile/iterative environment & undertake specialist or technical research & analysis activities;
• Identify opportunities for automation within software processes, using scripts that test functionality through analysis, test preparation, test execution, defect management, & technical troubleshooting activities.

Technical skills Required

• On Job experience with D365 technologies, SQL, API ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certificate, or relevant practical experience Dynamics 365.

Experience Required

• Demonstrated experience analysing business requirements, user stories, specifications & design documentation to develop & maintain effective test cases, test scripts & test data;
• Demonstrated experience executing manual tests, identifying & documenting defects, supporting defect investigation & retesting activities, & ensuring testing outcomes meet quality standards;
• Demonstrated ability to investigate issues, analyse test results, identify root causes & provide practical recommendations to support quality delivery outcomes;
• Degree in Information Technology and ISTQB Foundation Test Analyst or relevant practical experience;
• Knowledge of test design techniques, test execution processes, & the use of testing tools to support project delivery;
• Ability to identify, investigate, and report defects, and issues.
