Job summary

Recruitment Hive is sourcing multiple Test Analysts for AMSA, a leading maritime regulatory agency in Australia. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated regression tests across UI and API layers and ensuring they run within AMSA's CI/CD pipelines.

Candidates should have strong experience in UI and API testing, functional and integration testing, and test automation using Playwright, Selenium, and EasyRepro. Hybrid/flexible work arrangements are available in Canberra.

Job description

Our client, a leading maritime regulatory agency, require the services of multiple Test Analysts.

Duties of the Test Analysts:

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated regression tests spanning UI and API/integration layers;
• Ensure automated tests run as part of AMSA's CI/CD delivery pipelines;
• Apply strong UI and API testing experience;

Skills required:

• Proficiency with Visual Studio Code (VSCode), AzureDevOps, source control, defect management, and test management and reporting practices; understanding of SDLC principles and Agile delivery methodologies, and collaborative experience within multidisciplinary project teams;
• Demonstrated experience testing Microsoft Dynamics365 and/or Power Platform applications (Power Pages, Power Apps, Dataverse) and their associated business processes, including analysis, test scenario design, execution, defect management, and end-to-end business process validation;
• Demonstrated experience performing UI, functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing across web-based and enterprise applications, with strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices;
• Strong experience in test automation and modern testing tools, covering both UI regression testing (design, development, execution, maintenance of automated UI test suites for enterprise applications, particularly Dynamics365/Power Platform, using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro, or similar) and API/integration testing (automating validation of backend services and integrations using Postman/Newman, RESTAssured, or Playwright's API testing capabilities).
