Job summary

The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Automation Test Analyst in Sydney to lead hands-on testing across API and mobile platforms. You will drive test planning, execute both manual and automated tests, and mentor peers to improve testing quality.

Experience with Playwright and AWS is preferred, with the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders to define problems and practical solutions in an on-site setting.

Qualifications

• API testing experience: RESTful and GraphQL, minimum 2 years.
• At least 3 years mobile testing on iOS and Android.
• 4+ years with automation tools (Playwright).
• Experience in AWS cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead test planning and execution on assigned projects.
• Hands-on testing including manual and automated tests.
• Escalate issues through proper channels and provide updates.
• Coach team members in testing activities.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define problems and solutions.

Our client, an independent Federal Government agency responsible for implementing and administering the National Disability Insurance Scheme, require the services of a Senior Automation Test Analyst

Duties of the Senior Automation Test Analyst:

• Support the OCIO Project Manager to develop the Test Approach for a given project.
• Take ownership for day-to-day Test planning, preparation, execution and verification on a given project(s).
• Execute testing – this is a hands-on role with manual and automation components.
• Escalate testing issues to through the appropriate channels.
• Provide regular updates on test progress in consultation with project managers and other testers on the team.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to other team members undertaking testing activities including business analysts, and business representatives

Skills and Experience Required

• API Testing – 2 years experience executing RESTful / GraphQL API Tests
• At least 3 years of hands on experience with Mobile testing across iOS and Android platforms
• At least 4 years hands on experience on functional Automation tools such as Playwright
• Experience working in a cloud environment – specifically AWS
• Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops and working collaboratively with senior business, technical and delivery stakeholders to define problems and develop practical solutions.
