Job summary

WaterNSW is looking for an experienced Domain Architect - Application & Integration to join the Digital Partnerships & Data team. The role focuses on defining target-state architecture, application rationalisation, and integration strategy with APIs and interoperability to modernise the technology landscape.

You’ll deliver secure, scalable solutions aligned with business needs, providing leadership and governance across enterprise platforms in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in enterprise and solution architecture with a focus on application/integration domains.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architecture, middleware, and secure data exchange.
• Ability to set standards/patterns, review designs, and influence stakeholders.
• Current NSW Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Define, Govern, and Evolve the Application & Integration Architecture across the enterprise.
• Align technology with business strategy and stakeholder objectives.
• Provide architectural oversight on platforms and enforce integration standards.
• Lead modernization of legacy applications and introduce cloud-based solutions.
• Provide end-to-end architectural guidance on projects and governance forums.
