Job summary

DWS is seeking an experienced Senior Azure Integration Developer for our enterprise-scale, client-facing Consulting team in Sydney. You will design, build, and support cloud-based integration solutions across a broad application and data landscape.

You will contribute to enterprise standards, work with vendors, and deliver high-quality outcomes in an agile environment with a hybrid setup and 3+ days onsite in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure integration and iPaaS services.
• Expert knowledge of API design, versioning, error handling, and performance optimisation.
• Strong experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML and related integration protocols.
• Authentication and authorization using OAuth, JWT, and API keys.
• Experience automating build/release pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Strong SQL, KQL, Postman and Python skills.
• Experience with SaaS, COTS, and on-premise environments.
• Familiarity with Databricks and Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support integration solutions using Azure integration services.
• Build robust, scalable APIs aligned to enterprise standards.
• Implement API security including authentication, authorization, and access controls.
• Monitor, optimise, and troubleshoot integration performance and availability.
• Contribute to and help define integration standards, patterns, and governance practices.
• Maintain visibility of the enterprise integration landscape including systems, interfaces, and data flows.
• Lead and contribute to agile delivery activities including sprint planning, peer reviews, and vendor engagement.
• Provide level 3 support for integration-related incidents and issues.
• Research emerging integration and data technologies and recommend innovations where appropriate.
