Job summary

CPB Contractors VIC & TAS in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Document Controller to lead document control across the Stations Alliance South Package of the Suburban Rail Loop East project. You will manage vast technical documentation, ensure version control and compliance, and support project teams from construction through commissioning.

• Experience as Senior Document Controller on complex construction, infrastructure, mining or data centre projects.
• Experience in large-scale project environments, preferably data centres or mission-critical facilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Strong knowledge of document control systems, governance and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end document control across the project lifecycle.

About the Project

Join the Stations Alliance South Package, part of the Suburban Rail Loop East, one of Australia's largest and most significant transport infrastructure projects.

Delivered through an integrated alliance between Multiplex, CPB Contractors and GHD, the project will construct three new underground stations at Cheltenham, Clayton and Monash, helping to transform Melbourne's transport network and improve connectivity for future generations.

With major construction commencing in 2027 and project completion scheduled for 2033, the Stations Alliance South Package presents a unique opportunity to be part of a city-shaping project that will leave a lasting legacy for Victoria.

Your opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Document Controller to play a key role as a part of theStations Alliance South Package, part of the Suburban Rail Loop East.

This is an opportunity to join a high-profile, complex build where you'll be at the centre of keeping critical project information accurate, controlled and moving. We're particularly interested in people who have worked on large-scale construction projects and understand the fast-paced, highly regulated nature of enterprise environments.

In this hands-on role, you'll take ownership of document control across the project, ensuring systems, processes and standards are in place to support delivery from construction through to commissioning and handover. You'll work closely with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure everyone has access to the right information at the right time.

What you'll be doing:

• Owning end-to-end document control across the project lifecycle
• Managing large volumes of technical documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintaining version control and ensuring documentation complies with project requirements and standards
• Supporting project teams with document management systems, workflows and best practices
• Working closely with contractors and stakeholders to keep documentation aligned and up to date
• Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Senior Document Controller on complex construction, infrastructure, mining or data centre projects
• Experience working in large-scale project environments, ideally within data centres or other mission-critical facilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment
• Strong knowledge of document control systems, governance and compliance requirements
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to build relationships across project teams and stakeholders
