Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal’s Digital practice is seeking a Senior Director to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions for clients across industries. You will work with C-suite and senior technical stakeholders to shape AI strategy, oversee end-to-end model development, and deploy solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a hard science or engineering discipline (e.g., computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics)
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a technical field with data-intensive results
• Experience building and deploying AI/ML in production, including MLOps and enterprise integration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex, unstructured problems
• Strong leadership and communication, with experience influencing senior stakeholders
• Consulting or advisory experience is advantageous; ability to manage and grow client relationships

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of AI and ML solutions with measurable client impact
• Advise senior client stakeholders on AI strategy, governance, data architecture, and technology selection
• Translate complex, ambiguous challenges into scalable, deployable AI solutions
• Direct multidisciplinary teams of data scientists, ML engineers, and consultants across complex engagements
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities; contribute to proposals and AI market profile
• Mentor and develop junior practitioners, fostering a high-performance, technically excellent team culture
