Job summary

FinXL IT Professional Services is seeking a Principal Architect - AI Transformation to drive end-to-end AI strategy, design, and governance for a major wealth management client. You will lead enterprise-wide AI design authority, bridging business problems with robust tech solutions, and align AI assets for security, stability and sustainability.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture, you will guide architecture for cutting-edge AI capabilities, collaborating with executive AI leads

Qualifications

10+ years in technology across multiple complex domains.
5+ years in dedicated enterprise architecture.
2+ years delivering tangible AI architecture outcomes (multi-agent, orchestration, human-agent).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with executives.
Expert-level knowledge of AI risks and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Act as the AI enterprise Architecture Authority, advising senior leaders.
Develop and maintain domain technology strategies, architectures, and reference models.
Lead the technical design for multi-agent AI initiatives and human-agent workflows.
Govern technology decisions, lead vendor/product selection, ensure EA standard alignment.
Establish risk controls around AI risks, safety, and regulatory expectations.
Mentor Solution Architects and delivery teams across domains.
Drive health checks and lifecycle practices for long-term stability and cost-effective tech investments.
