Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is expanding its Forensic Technology Services team in Australia. We seek a senior leader to guide the practice across Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, oversee large digital forensics and eDiscovery engagements, and act as a trusted adviser to clients and legal counsel.

You will originate opportunities, mentor staff, and uphold the highest standards of quality. The role requires deep forensic expertise, strong business development skills and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in digital forensics, eDiscovery, cybersecurity, incident response or forensic data analytics within a client-facing professional services environment.
• Proven track record of leading large engagements and teams, and of building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and legal counsel.
• Strong business development capability, with experience originating and winning work.
• Deep understanding of forensic principles and the EDRM, and best practice in forensic collection, analysis and review.
• Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms (Nuix Discover, Relativity, Reveal) and forensic tool suites (Nuix Workstation, Magnet AXIOM, Cellebrite).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, including the ability to challenge assumptions and guide difficult conversations.
• Bachelor's degree in Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• Relevant industry certifications (SANS, EnCE, CFCE, CCE, GFCE, CISSP) are highly regarded.
• Willingness to travel as client and business needs require

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee our most complex forensic technology engagements, including digital forensics and eDiscovery across disputes and investigations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and legal counsel on evidence preservation and data handling.
• Originate and pursue new opportunities, lead proposals and build long-term relationships with clients and law firms.
• Set the standard for technical quality, methodology and governance across engagements.
• Take accountability for engagement quality, risk management, client expectations and commercial performance.
• Partner with colleagues to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
• Mentor and develop Directors, Managers and team members, and participate in recruiting and retention of top talent.
