Job summary

Optus is seeking a seasoned Senior Director, Enterprise Risk Management to own the Risk Management Approach, RMF, RAS, and risk culture across the organisation. You will report to Executive committees and shape risk strategy at a senior level, aligning risk insights with business decisions to protect customer trust and service resilience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in enterprise risk management, non-financial risk or risk transformation in regulated sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously enhance Optus' enterprise risk management approach.
• Own the enterprise Risk Appetite Statement, including KPIs and escalation triggers.
• Own the Three Lines model ensuring accountability, challenge and assurance.
• Maintain and evolve the enterprise risk profile, taxonomy and register.
• Drive risk assessments, scenario analysis and risk aggregation across material risks.
• Lead risk culture initiatives and emerging risk processes across the business.
