Job summary

LexisNexis Intellectual Property Solutions is seeking a Senior Director, Platform Engineering – Data Platform & Agentic Platform to lead the engineering org delivering trusted data services and AI-driven workflows at scale. You will partner with Platform Product Management to ensure scalable, reliable, secure platforms adopted across domains while driving high-quality execution and team growth.

Qualifications

• 12+ years leading platform engineering teams delivering shared services or large-scale SaaS systems with production operations accountability.
• Strong hands-on technical leadership in distributed systems and platform engineering.
• Experience enabling AI-powered systems in production, with monitoring, observability, and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery for shared platform services and data capabilities used by multiple product domains.
• Translate platform requirements into scalable designs and delivery plans.
• Provide capacity forecasts, sequencing options, and delivery risk assessments for roadmaps.
• Build and operate ingestion, integration, and modernization capabilities for IP data across domains.
• Implement canonical data contracts and APIs with governance, versioning, and backward compatibility.
• Implement and operate agent workflow platform capabilities aligned to product standards, including traceability and convergence patterns.
• Oversee production-grade evaluation, observability, auditability, and guardrail mechanisms for safe AI workflows.
