Qualifications

• Proven digital writing and editing experience.

Responsibilities

• Content Strategy & Development: Lead the audit of existing website content to eliminate gaps and duplication. Write, edit, and publish high-quality, plain-language web and social media copy aligned with brand narratives.
• Information Architecture & CMS: Structure web content for improved user experience using WordPress, establishing clear guidelines for metadata, tagging, and formatting.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal operational, legal, safety, and policy teams to translate technical/regulatory material into plain English.
• Accessibility & Quality Control: Ensure all digital assets comply with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and government accessibility requirements, converting complex PDFs into accessible HTML content where applicable.
• Distributed Authoring Support: Build project frameworks to empower internal teams to author content, providing documentation, style guides, and process support.
