Job summary

Kaliba in Australia is seeking a senior hands-on DevOps & Platform Engineer to own the cloud infrastructure, security foundations and delivery platform that supports its product.

This principal-level individual contributor role requires designing a secure, multi-account cloud platform with mature IaC, reliable pipelines and a strong developer experience across AWS, Azure or GCP, while guiding architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience across AWS, Azure or GCP with cloud architecture design.
• Designing cloud organisation and account architecture, not just services.
• Proven record of building infrastructure capabilities or platforms from scratch.
• Strong infrastructure as code and CI/CD experience.
• Security across identity, networking, hosts, containers, apps and data.
• Ability to write code and contribute tooling with engineers.
• Experience operating data platforms or distributed data infrastructure at scale.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid environments (AWS and Azure).
• Experience with IRAP, ISO 27001, SOC 2 or Essential Eight security requirements.
