Job summary

LAB3 is seeking a Principal Engineer - Cloud & DevOps to lead end-to-end Azure platform and automation initiatives in Australia or New Zealand. You will design, document, and deliver secure, scalable Azure solutions, with a strong focus on IaC using Terraform and robust CI/CD pipelines.

You will provision and manage AKS environments, mentor engineers, and help uplift engineering capabilities while collaborating with senior stakeholders across engagements.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on Azure IaaS and PaaS with a DevOps mindset.
• Strong Terraform, ARM templates and Bicep skills.
• Experience with AKS, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in automation using Python, Bash or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Azure platform and automation initiatives.
• Design, document and implement secure, scalable Azure solutions.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and related tooling.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to hiring and capability uplift.
