Kaluza is seeking a Platform Engineer in Melbourne to build and evolve our internal developer platform. This role impacts how developers use cloud infrastructure while focusing on eliminating infrastructure toil and improving productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping production applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Experience using cloud platforms like AWS (preferred), Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Desire to create and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Foundational understanding of distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve internal developer platform for software teams.
• Engineer a scalable, reliable platform for software development.
• Develop tools to improve developer experience and operational efficiency.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and Crossplane.
• Establish robust monitoring and logging foundations.
• Incorporate security best practices and participate in on-call rota.
