Job summary

CrowdStrike in Australia is seeking a Senior Engineer for the NG-SIEM Serverless Cell Platform to ensure health, performance, and reliability of large-scale SIEM cell infrastructure, and to build automation and self-healing capabilities across the platform.

You will monitor, upgrade clusters, implement SLIs, write Go microservices, and collaborate with product engineering and support teams across time zones to resolve production issues and drive scalable, secure operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in site reliability, platform engineering, or infra ops.
• Experience operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java for automation.
• Cloud infra with IaC (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Strong collaboration and communication.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled decision-making is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, health, performance, and reliability of LogScale cells and respond to incidents.
• Upgrade LogScale clusters and microservices using ring-based rollouts; deploy patches and recover cells.
• Build monitoring with SLIs, alerts, dashboards for rapid troubleshooting.
• Write Go microservices and automation scripts to automate operations and enable self-healing.
• Collaborate with product engineering and customer support to troubleshoot production issues and coordinate changes.
• Engage in mentorship and knowledge-sharing to tackle large-scale distributed systems challenges.
