Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Engineer for the NG-SIEM Serverless Cell Platform, focusing on health, performance, and reliability of large-scale cell infrastructure. You will automate operations, scale services, and reduce toil in a distributed environment across Australia and globally.

You’ll write Go microservices, lead incident response, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable data processing for customers. Remote-friendly role with on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations experience.
• Experience with capacity planning, resource optimization, and scaling large-scale infrastructure.
• Proficiency in programming for automation (Go, Python, Java or similar).
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, OCI, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, performance, and reliability of LogScale cells and respond to incidents.
• Upgrade clusters and microservices using ring-based rollout strategies and patch deployment.
• Develop monitoring with SLIs/SLOs, alerts, dashboards and runbooks.
• Write Go microservices and automation scripts to enable self-healing workflows.
• Collaborate with product engineering and support to troubleshoot production issues.
• Mentor teammates and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
