Job summary

Scape Australia in Sydney is seeking a Senior Development Manager to oversee the delivery of mixed-use projects across retirement living, PBSA and build-to-rent. You will lead front-end delivery from feasibility to planning approvals, ensuring alignment with strategic and sustainability targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in property development or construction in Australia.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale residential development projects.
• Strong leadership and budget management capabilities.
• Excellent communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing front-end delivery of complex RL, BTR and PBSA projects from feasibilities and forecasting through to development applications and planning approvals.
• Assessing new acquisition opportunities and preparing detailed development appraisals.
• Representing TLC with authorities, joint venture partners, external consultants and internal teams.
• Coordinating architects, engineers and specialist consultants to keep projects aligned to budget, schedule and guidelines.
• Leading tender processes and contract negotiations with the Construction team, and managing the retail leasing strategy for mixed-use buildings.
• Tracking project costs and budgets, and reporting on progress to the finance and investment teams, management board and project control groups.
