Job summary

The Living Company in Sydney is seeking a Development Manager to lead the front-end delivery of mixed-use and retirement living projects. You will coordinate across development, design, construction and ESG teams, engaging with authorities and external consultants to ensure projects meet strategic and sustainability objectives.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years' experience in Property, Architecture, Construction or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience contributing to and managing large-scale residential development projects in Australia.
• Strong financial acumen with budget management and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage front-end delivery of complex, large-scale projects from feasibility to approvals.
• Provide technical and commercial oversight across development, design, procurement and construction workstreams.
• Represent TLC with planning authorities, JV partners and external consultants.
• Coordinate architects, engineers and consultants to keep projects aligned to budget, schedule and guidelines.
• Lead contract negotiations and tender processes with Construction team partners to select top-tier partners.
• Prepare project reports, track budgets and costs, and keep stakeholders and the board informed.
