Job summary

MinRes is seeking a Senior Developer to lead design, development, and enhancement of enterprise digital products. Focus on Power Platform with opportunities across Dynamics 365, Azure, integrations, and custom solutions.

Reporting to the Manager - Product Delivery, you will translate complex requirements into secure, reliable solutions, provide technical direction and mentor colleagues while improving product design and delivery. This is a 12-month fixed-term role anchored in Western Australia.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Software Development, Computer Science, IT or related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Extensive experience in enterprise software development, incl. design and delivery of business systems.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
• Experience developing and supporting Dynamics 365 solutions is highly regarded.
• Technical experience in C#/.NET, TypeScript/JavaScript, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, SharePoint/M365 development or SQL-based data platforms.
• Strong understanding of system integration techniques: APIs, ETL and workflow automation.
• Experience in agile delivery environments, using source control, DevOps and CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Git).
• Strong design and troubleshooting skills with focus on security, maintainability and reliability.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform Developer Associate, Azure Developer Associate or DevOps Engineer Expert are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development and testing of product features across Power Platform, Azure and custom code.
• Develop and support Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CRM solutions to enable regulatory approvals and compliance.
• Design secure, scalable integrations between digital products and enterprise systems with cross-team collaboration.
• Provide technical guidance, review deliverables and promote standardisation and cybersecurity alignment.
• Contribute to product roadmaps, programme increment planning and estimation with technical options and delivery risks.
• Troubleshoot complex application, workflow and integration issues for reliable operation.
• Support release management, change control and deployment practices.
• Develop technical documentation and transition to business-as-usual support.
• Build trusted relationships with users, SMEs and vendors to shape requirements.
• Mentor developers and analysts to strengthen technical capability.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, to improve capability and efficiency.

The Opportunity

As Senior Developer, you will lead the design, development and enhancement of enterprise digital products supporting the broader business. Microsoft Power Platform is a core capability, complemented by opportunities to work across Dynamics 365, Azure services, integrations and custom-built solutions.

Reporting to the Manager - Product Delivery, you will partner with business stakeholders and multidisciplinary technology teams to translate complex requirements into secure, reliable and practical solutions. You will provide technical direction, support in mentoring colleagues and drive improvements across product design, delivery and ongoing support.

This position commences as a 12-Month Fixed Term requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development and testing of product features, selecting appropriate solutions across Power Platform, Azure services and custom code
• Develop and support Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CRM solutions, including applications supporting regulatory approvals and compliance
• Design secure, scalable integrations between digital products and enterprise systems, collaborating with Data, Integration & Analytics, Cloud and AI teams
• Provide technical guidance and review deliverables, promoting reuse, standardisation and alignment with architecture and cybersecurity requirements
• Contribute to product roadmaps, programme increment planning and estimation, outlining technical options, effort and delivery risks
• Troubleshoot complex application, workflow and integration issues, ensuring reliable operation and timely resolution
• Support release management, change control and deployment practices to maintain product quality and security
• Develop technical documentation and support materials, ensuring effective transition to business-as-usual support
• Build trusted relationships with business users, subject matter experts and vendors to shape requirements and respond to evolving needs
• Mentor developers and analysts, sharing knowledge and strengthening technical capability across the team
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and automation, to improve product capability and operational efficiency

What is required

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Software Development, Computer Science, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience, desirable
• Extensive experience in enterprise software development, including the design and delivery of business systems
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse
• Experience developing and supporting Dynamics 365 solutions highly regarded
• Technical experience in one or more of C#/.NET, TypeScript/JavaScript, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, SharePoint/Microsoft 365 development or SQL-based data platforms
• Sound understanding of system integration techniques, including APIs, ETL and workflow automation
• Experience working in agile delivery environments, using source control, DevOps and CI/CD practices such as Azure DevOps and Git
• Strong solution design and troubleshooting skills, with a practical approach to security, maintainability and system reliability
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and business value clearly
• Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Power Platform Developer Associate, Azure Developer Associate or DevOps Engineer Expert are highly regarded
