Job summary

MINERAL RESOURCES LIMITED is seeking a DTS Site Technician to provide onsite IT support across regional sites in Western Australia. You will troubleshoot Windows desktops, Office 365 and related services while maintaining strong customer relationships and timely response to incidents.

The role involves working with networking, virtualization, and core IT projects in a fast-paced mining environment. Prior IT support experience and relevant certifications are valued.

Qualifications

• Requires tertiary technology qualification or industry certifications.
• Proficiency in Windows Desktop Environment and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support to end users across regional locations.
• Deliver troubleshooting and problem-solving for Windows desktop environments and Office 365.
• Work with networking technologies including switching, routing, firewalls and wireless systems.
• Apply knowledge of MS Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure.
• Assist with virtualization systems such as Hyper‑V and VMware.
• Manage incidents, requests and problem resolution in ServiceNow.
• Support the implementation and rollout of IT projects onsite.
• Deliver professional customer service with clear communication.

The Opportunity

As a DTS Site Technician, you will work closely with IT Operations and the Infrastructure team to deliver high‑quality technical support, assist with the rollout of IT projects and maintain a strong focus on customer service and relationship building. This is a hands‑on role requiring problem‑solving skills, strong troubleshooting abilities and the capability to operate effectively in fast‑paced environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide onsite technical support to end users across various regional locations
• Deliver excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving solutions for Windows desktop environments and Office 365 applications
• Work with networking technologies including switching, routing, firewalls and wireless systems
• Apply knowledge of MS Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure
• Assist with virtualisation systems such as Hyper‑V and VMware
• Manage incidents, requests, and problem resolution in ServiceNow
• Support the implementation and rollout of IT projects onsite
• Deliver professional and timely customer service with clear communication
• Build and maintain strong relationships with end users
• Work collaboratively within the IT support team to resolve issues or deploy equipment remotely

What is required

• Relevant Tertiary Technology Qualification or Industry Certifications highly regarded
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Desktop Environment and Office 365
• Knowledge of networking including switching, routing, firewalls and wireless technologies
• Knowledge of MS Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure
• Knowledge of virtualisation including Hyper-V or VMWare
• Experiencing in dealing issue, request and problem management, preferably in Service Now
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong time management and organisational skills
