Job summary

Brennan is seeking a dynamic Senior Desktop Support Engineer (Managed Services Consultant L1) in Adelaide to provide onsite and remote 1st-level support for our Managed Services client. The role requires on-site presence and travel across the Adelaide region, with own license and car, and a willingness to engage customers face-to-face.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years IT experience, strong networking, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365/Azure familiarity, plus

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and firewalls.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet SLA targets.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to travel to and work on-site across the Adelaide region.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 support for service delivery teams and resolve technical issues.
• Provide monthly rotational onsite support at client locations and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain and administer systems, including Desktops (Windows OS), Microsoft Office, basic printing and Windows server support, end user support, and liaising with 3rd party vendors.
• Ensure service quality through technical competence and attention to detail.
• Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting (switches, routers, VPNs).
• Maintain effective communications with your clients.
