Job summary

Brennan is seeking a dynamic Senior Desktop Support Engineer (L1) in Adelaide to provide on-site and remote 1st-level support for our Managed Services client. You will work across Windows, networking and ITIL processes, with travel across the Adelaide region and a requirement to have a valid license and car.

As part of the Managed Services team, you will perform technical duties and liaise with 3rd party vendors while aiming to ensure excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, Virtualisation (VMware / Hyper-V) and firewalls.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and service delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet SLA targets.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 support for service delivery teams and resolve technical issues.
• Provide monthly rotational onsite support at client locations on behalf of service delivery teams and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain and administer systems, which includes Desktops (Windows OS), Microsoft Office suite, basic printing and Windows server support. Also includes end user support and liaising with 3rd party vendors as needed.
• Ensure service quality through technical competence and attention to detail.
• Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting (switches, routers, VPNs).
• Maintain effective communications with your clients.
