Job summary

XPT Software is seeking a Level 2 Desktop Support specialist in Sydney to help maintain a healthy end-user computing environment. The role focuses on expert Windows troubleshooting, enterprise AD, SCCM/Intune deployments, and proactive health checks across multi-domain environments in a 24x7 service setup.

You will monitor systems, create automation and runbooks, mentor junior engineers, and provide data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Windows desktop/server troubleshooting and enterprise-scale AD.
• Hands-on with SCCM/Intune for patching, deployment and compliance.
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts and incident/change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide incident and change support for Windows servers in a 24x7 environment.
• Mentor junior desktop support engineers and create training materials.
• Produce weekly/monthly reports using ITSM tools and present findings.
• Lead stand-up and governance meetings with stakeholders and drive improvements.
• Configure, test, and deploy software and patches; ensure hardware connectivity.
