Job summary

Architectus in Sydney is seeking an experienced Architect to lead education projects with a focus on design quality and delivery excellence. You will work with a national team, coordinating client needs, technical documentation, and project packages while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires 5+ years post-graduation, Sydney residency, and proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe. Flexible work options are available within a collaborative studio culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-graduation experience.
• Preference 3+ years local experience in Sydney.
• Must be located in Sydney.
• Competent Revit and 3D modelling (Rhino preferred) and Adobe skills.
• Strong detail, documentation and reporting ability.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the project team to understand client needs.
• Contribute to on-time project delivery.
• Inform project leader of technical and design aspects.
• Recommend technical document production.
• Manage delivery of approved technical and design documents.
• Execute the performance management process.
• Model Architectus culture and values.
• Attend management meetings and input initiatives.
• Lead small project teams end-to-end.

About the Role

Working in our Sydney Studio with a national team of design and delivery leaders within the Education space, you will play a key role in city-defining projects. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on design and delivery excellence for the following responsibilities:

• Partner with the project teamto understand client needs, liaising directly with clients and contractorsas required
• Contribute to the delivery ofprojects and project packages on time
• Ensure the project leaderis informed of all technical or design aspects of the job to perform theirrole
• Recommend technicaldocument production for projects
• Managing delivery of approvedtechnical and design document production
• Execute the performancemanagement process
• Role model Architectusculture and values
• Attend and provide valuedinput at management meetings
• Input and perform networkdevelopment, knowledge management, employee mentoring, operationalimprovement and design review processes initiatives
• May lead a small team onselected projects end-to-end

AboutYou
