Architectus in Brisbane seeks a Senior Wayfinding Designer to turn complex spaces into clear, intuitive wayfinding experiences. You will blend spatial thinking with graphic design and human-centered problem-solving for diverse projects.

Collaborating across disciplines, you’ll lead concepts through documentation and coordinate with clients, consultants, and fabricators to ensure cohesive, buildable solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience as a wayfinding designer.
• Strong graphic and typographic skills with high attention to detail.
• Understanding of taking projects from concept through construction documentation and delivery.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Design wayfinding and signage systems for internal and external built environments.
• Work independently across projects of varying scale and sector.
• Lead project wayfinding teams or support senior team members as needed.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Wayfinding Designer who can turn complex spaces into clear, intuitive experiences. This role blends strategic spatial thinking, graphic design, and human-centered problem-solving to create wayfinding systems that help people navigate environments with ease and confidence.

You'll collaborate across design disciplines within project teams to deliver cohesive wayfinding solutions spanning all major sectors.

About you:

• Strong graphic and typographic skills with high attention to detail
• Solid understanding of technical requirements - able to take projects from concept through construction documentation and delivery
• Proven ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality
• High proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
