Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver major community and health facilities, learning environments and sports projects
• Lead the design and development of architectural concepts and detailed plans for a variety of projects
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and the project team to translate complex requirements into functional designs
• Ensure all designs comply with building codes, regulations and sustainability standards
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications and documentation to support construction
• Provide technical advice and support to the project team during construction
• Stay up-to-date with industry innovations and best practices in architecture

Exciting opportunity for you to join the dynamic team at ARCH. Due to recent project wins we have a number of roles available for architects and interior designers across Australia, and from graduates to senior associate level.

In this full-time role as an Architect, based in our Sydney studio, you will play a key role in delivering innovative architectural solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. You will contribute to the design and development of high quality projects across a range of sectors, collaborating with a talented interdisciplinary team that works nationally across Australia. This is a role, in which you will be able to use your skills and knowledge in project leadership, engagement with clients and stakeholders, conceptual presentation and planning, design development and detailed documentation.

Responsibilities

Deliver major community and health facilities, learning environments and sports projects

Depending on your experience you could lead the design and development of architectural concepts and detailed plans for a variety of projects

Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and the project team to translate frequently complex requirements into functional designs that deliver well resolved architecture

Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations and sustainability standards

Prepare detailed drawings, specifications and documentation to support the construction process

Provide technical advice and support to the project team throughout the construction phase

Stay up-to-date with industry innovations and best practices in architecture

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our design processes and standards

Experience in working in an architecture practice and in project delivery

Masters of Architecture (or equivalent) at a recognisable Tertiary institution

Registered Architect status is highly regarded, with minimum 5 years’ experience delivering significant scale or complex projects

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Evidence of proven time management skills in delivering projects on time, design thinking and architectural resolution

Strong technical skills in architectural design, including the use of Revit and other software

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Outstanding communication and collaboration skills

Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations and sustainability standards
