Job summary

Architectus Australia is seeking a Senior Designer / Senior Architect to join the Infrastructure team in our Adelaide Studio. You will contribute to high-quality projects with a focus on data centre design, production, detailed documentation and peer review.

You will lead or assist delivery, liaising with clients and contractors, while modelling Architectus culture and values and supporting junior team members.

Qualifications

• Data centre experience preferred; other complex builds with heavy services coordination welcomed.
• Extensive technical experience from concept to IFC delivery.
• Strong technical and documentation skills essential.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ability to create creative yet practical design solutions.
• Strong understanding of architectural doc and coordination requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project team to understand client needs and liaise with clients/contractors as required.
• Contribute to on-time delivery of projects and packages.
• Keep project leaders informed of technical/design aspects.
• Recommend production of technical documentation for projects.
• Manage delivery of approved technical and design documentation.
• Participate in performance management and project governance.
• Model Architectus culture and values in daily work.
• Attend management meetings and provide input.
• Contribute to knowledge management, mentoring, and design-review processes.

About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Designer / Senior Architect to joinour Infrastructure team in our Adelaide Studio and contribute to the deliveryof high-quality projects, with a particular focus on data centre design,production, detailed documentation and peer review. In this role, you'llundertake detailed architectural and technical work with minimal supervision,leading or assisting in project delivery while ensuring positive design,client, team, and financial outcomes.

• Partner with the project teamto understand client needs, liaising directly with clients and contractorsas required

• Ensuring the project leaderis informed of all technical or design aspects of the job to perform theirrole

About You

• Data centre experience ispreferred but not essential.Relevant complex building experience with heavy servicescoordination such as laboratories, advanced manufacturing, rail oraviation will be looked at favourably
• Extensive technical experiencetaking projects from concept through to IFC.
• Excellent technical anddocumentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Revitand AutoCAD.
• The ability to developcreative yet practical design and technical solutions.
• A strong understanding ofarchitectural documentation and coordination requirements.
• Excellent communication andcollaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring orsupporting junior team members.
