Job summary

Consolidated Power Projects in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Design Drafter - Primary to support the design and construction of high-voltage infrastructure projects, including substations, grid connections, wind farms and battery storage systems.

You will prepare accurate primary design drawings and documentation, working alongside engineers, designers and Project Managers to resolve technical queries and deliver safe, compliant and constructible design outcomes in line with relevant standards

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, substation or primary design drafting.
• Exposure to substations, renewable energy or related electrical infrastructure.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation capability.
• Understanding of design intent and practical outputs.
• Knowledge of primary design drafting principles and electrical concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Willingness to continue learning and adapt.
• Experience with Revit or BIM workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, high-quality primary design drawings and documentation.
• Assist engineers, designers and Project Managers by resolving technical queries.
• Deliver safe, compliant and constructible design outcomes in line with standards and deadlines.
• Gain exposure to CPP’s 3D modelling and BIM capabilities as requirements evolve.
