CPP is seeking a Senior Design Drafter – Primary to join its engineering team in Melbourne. You will prepare and coordinate detailed primary design drawings for high-voltage infrastructure projects, working closely with engineers and project teams to ensure designs are practical and compliant.

You’ll mentor drafters and help refine drafting standards throughout tender to commissioning stages. The role requires AutoCAD and MicroStation proficiency, plus 5+ years in HV primary systems, and strong

Qualifikationen

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Designer Drafter – specialising in High Voltage Primary Systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with client engineers, suppliers and subcontractors.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and coordinate detailed primary design drawings for high-voltage infrastructure projects.
• Resolve complex clearance and constructability challenges with engineers and project teams.
• Provide technical guidance to drafters and trainees, and contribute to drafting standards and methodologies.
• Involvement from tender and concept design through to construction and commissioning support.
