CPP is seeking a Senior Design Drafter - Primary to support the design and construction of high-voltage projects, including substations, grid connections, wind farms and battery storage systems. You will prepare primary design drawings, work with engineers and Project Managers, and help deliver compliant, constructible outcomes on time.

Experience in electrical/substation design drafting, AutoCAD or MicroStation, and a strong eye for detail will be valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical/substation design drafting.
• Exposure to substations, renewable energy or similar electrical infrastructure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Ability to translate design intent into practical outputs.
• Knowledge of primary design drafting principles and basic electrical concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Positive, practical approach and willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accurate, high-quality primary design drawings and documentation for HV projects.
• Support engineers, designers and project managers to resolve technical queries.
• Deliver safe, compliant, and constructible design outputs within standards and deadlines.
• Gain exposure to 3D modelling and BIM workflows as project requirements evolve.
