Job summary

Consolidated Power Projects Australia in Melbourne, VIC, is seeking a Senior Design Drafter for primary HV infrastructure drawings. You will join CPP’s engineering team to develop layouts, resolve clearance and constructability issues, and deliver accurate drawings meeting standards.

You will mentor drafters and trainees, sharing experience across tender, concept design, construction and commissioning phases to support safe, practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Designer Drafter focusing on High Voltage Primary Systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with client engineers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ability to interpret and implement design information from Primary Design, Civil Design and Project Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate detailed primary design drawings for high-voltage infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and project teams to develop layouts and resolve constructability challenges.
• Mentor and provide guidance to drafters and trainees; contribute to drafting standards improvements.
