Job summary

NSW Department of Customer Service – Parramatta NSW is seeking an experienced IT Delivery Lead to manage software development and releases for a digital transformation program. You will lead delivery across SDLC using Agile practices and CI/CD in a modern tech stack including AWS, Java, ReactJS.

The role requires 8+ years of IT delivery experience, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to coach teams in Scrum/Lean, while ensuring quality and governance.

Qualifications

8+ years of IT delivery using agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban/XP)
Diploma or degree in IT, computer science, or engineering
Certifications in IT project management/agile delivery are desirable
Experience in banking/payments solutions is highly regarded
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Responsibilities

Source, analyse and establish business requirements to meet release timelines
Plan and manage delivery using Agile/Lean practices to ensure high-quality products
Coach teams to embed Agile/Lean practices and CI/CD
Collaborate with squads to coordinate deployment environments and testing schedules
Develop stakeholder relationships and manage expectations for outcomes
