Job summary

NSW Department of Customer Service in Parramatta invites a Senior Technical Business Analyst to lead business analysis for a digital transformation program. You will document processes, systems and requirements supporting Digital Revenue projects, working in an Agile team across modern tech stacks including AWS, microservices, ReactJS, Spring Boot and Java.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in business analysis and supporting multiple projects in an agile environment
• Experienced in using Jira and Confluence
• Conversant with SQL
• Experience in using Kiro/ Claude is a plus
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Ability to identify and create data in various formats
• Demonstrable ability to work to deadlines and balance competing needs
• Experience in banking and payment solutions is highly regarded
• A background in software development would be advantageous with the ability to read Java codes.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and translate business requirements for digital transformation initiatives
• Collaborate within an Agile delivery team to shape and refine backlog and requirements
• Identify, document, and analyse business processes and systems to enable Digital Revenue programs
• Engage stakeholders and users to scope priorities and validate solutions
• Contribute to best practices in agile delivery and project coordination with AWS cloud services
