Job summary

Novus is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to own end-to-end software delivery across multiple squads in a Sydney-based, hybrid setup. The role covers delivery leadership, release management, agile facilitation and stakeholder management in a SAFe environment.

With ~25 developers across 4–5 squads and two-week sprints, you will coordinate planning, governance, and enable teams to deliver against roadmap commitments, while working closely with Product and leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong experience leading software delivery in Agile and hybrid environments.
• Proven ability to lead multiple engineering squads in SAFe.
• Experience coordinating releases across development, test and production.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery across multiple software initiatives, including scope, schedule, budget, risks and dependencies.
• Facilitate Scrum and SAFe ceremonies across multiple squads.
• Coach Product Owners on backlog management and prioritisation.
• Coordinate releases across environments and ensure timely delivery.
• Track milestones, risks, and financials for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Product on roadmaps and release planning.
• Coordinate vendors and services to align delivery expectations.
• Lead retrospectives and drive continuous delivery improvements.
